It was while keeping up with what is happening in the multilevel marketing industry that I found about the GIN. It is a web community supposedly made up of business leaders, celebrities, and high ranking members of secret societies. Honestly that last part almost made me laugh until I realized how much people who believed in that sort of thing might be paying. Membership in the GIN is not cheap. You are not only talking about $150 a month in dues there is a $1000 initiation fee as well. The lucrative offer of $200 to affiliates for new recruits is easily explained with membership fees like this. Normally I would also look at a company and its founders but this is also impossible to do in a Global Information Network review. This is because the GIN is very explicit in their anonymity policy. They say quite plainly that they intend to never disclose their founders. With so much secrecy I find it impossible to imagine the GIN as being a legitimate business, or even a legitimate business resource. With effective marketing skills I can see how it could seem easy to think the GIN affiliate program might be a good idea. After all $200 per member is a pretty appealing sounding affiliate offer, assuming there are no difficulties collecting payments owed by the GIN. The GIN is registered in the Caribbean. Should they default or fail to make their affiliate payments I imagine winning a judgment that you actually collect would be problematic to say the least. There are "legitimate" reasons for registering in such locations, like tax shelters but when you combine it with the secrecy of the GIN it only looks suspicious. I know multilevel marketing opportunities can be exciting and effective business opportunities. With a full understanding of how 21st century marketing works any number of MLM products can be a gateway to riches for those who have the right knowledge. Having seen one of their recruitment letters I decided to take a look at the GIN myself. It did not take me very long to conclude that there will be more than a few Global Information Network complaints. http://www.viddler.com/explore/elliegant007/videos/146/ Many Global Information Network complaints will call the organization a scam. The GIN does absolutely nothing to help its self. In face their veils of secrecy lead even me to wonder if they are on the up and up and I try very hard to always give something the benefit of the doubt. Not only are none of these members anonymous, the founders are as well. With all of the knowledge they collectively have, and their illustrious list of members the best the GIN can come up with to establish their credibility is the "secrets of secret societies?" I am certain that Global Information Network complaints will also address false and misleading advertising. It was the recruitment letter I saw that made the GIN come across as a multilevel marketing business that got my attention in the first place. Of course this is completely at odds with their website which has a disclaimer that clearly states the GIN is not a business opportunity. This letter even claims that at some point the GIN may stop accepting new members. If you look at their website and the organization they are willing to describe it is obvious that the GIN will only be able to continue so long as it can get new members. That the recruitment materials and the website are at such odds is alarming to say the least. Do even the GIN founders know what the organization is? The fact that it seems as if this lack of clarity is intentionally manufactured looks considerably suspicious to me. Honestly though I do not know anybody will address Global Information Network complaints to. Not only are the founders and members anonymous, the network is registered in the Caribbean nations of St Kits and Nevis. To say that this could make it difficult to take legal action against the GIN is gross understatement. The future is sure to have plenty of Global Information Network complaints. It is not fair to think that those complaints have anything to do with multilevel marketing though. While some products are better than others there are plenty of viable multilevel marketing programs out there. With the right marketing skills it is quite possible to succeed with a home based business. I would just avoid the Global Information Network. All of those things come from the members, not the GIN. That the GIN even bothers to reference a New World Order that is conspiring to keep the poor repressed is distressing. That they claim they will combat this fictional conspiracy with knowledge from organizations typically accused of being in on the conspiracy is deplorable. What does it say about the GIN that they try to establish credibility by playing up conspiracy theories? I would like to know the names of the people behind the GIN. Global Information Network refuses to disclose its founders. For that matter they will not name a single member, not one of the numerous celebrities or business leaders allegedly within their ranks. I try to keep an open mind but the more I looked the more certain I became about GIN. Global Information Network is registered in St Kitts/Nevis, Caribbean islands. While I can understand that there may be tax purposes for registering in such tropic locales I cannot help but wonder if the mysterious founders of GIN have registered there in the hope avoiding future prosecution. Sure the affiliate program could sound enticing to anybody who knows how to market. Marketing knowledge can make it possible to sell anything, including membership to an organization like the GIN. Global Information Network offers $200 per recruit to their affiliates. I just hope they make good on their affiliate offer. I can only conclude that I do not think joining the Global Information Network is a good idea. At a World Ventures meeting you will learn all about the two products, as well as some facts about the travel industry in general. Worldwide, people spend 8 trillion dollars on travel every year. Attendees are told that all they have to do is put up a website and start getting some of that money. Even though the travel industry is enormous, it is highly competitive, and it competes on price. A custom website and some video tutorials on marketing are not going to give you the tools you need to succeed. To top it off, people are encouraged to have people they already know visit the site, and sign up under them. No wonder people get so down on MLM. Successful LTCs learn how to rent ballrooms and give sales seminars, exactly like the ones mentioned above. There is no emphasis put on internet marketing. Many people never really get started making an income with this. Their time would have been better spent learning about marketing first, and picking a company later. However, once members, they are encouraged to become a Leisure Travel Consultant and to recruit friends and family members through the website provided to them. This method of sales, known as MLM, is not generally liked, and most people are familiar with this method which is used by many other companies. The members who attempt to become a successful Leisure Travel Consultant often give up after meeting the refusal of many who are tired of this sales method and who try to avoid it. Rather than using the MLM method and then giving up, such people who are enthusiastic about selling ought to consider other methods. This is not stellar marketing advice. This kind of advice is terrible. Instead of marketing a website to people they actually know, members should be taught how to market the website to people who are already surfing the web looking for travel deals. This is such a common problem with MLM, people are not taught how to sell effectively. The people who follow the company's advice often soon drop out of the program in frustration. That creates yet another frustrated person who has nothing good to say about network marketing. There are some people who are having a lot of success with multi-level marketing, but these are people who are already skilled marketers. They are usually successful selling other products and services too. That is because marketing skills are useful both with internet marketing and face to face marketing. There are people right now who are making full time income by selling products and services over the internet. The only thing they have that other people don't is marketing know-how. Otherwise, they are just ordinary people. Marketing can be learned by getting a regular college degree, by reading books and experimenting, or by taking an online marketing course.
